Hope you are doing well, seems that you are. My Mid-Sound friends have complained that the initial run of keepers around Smithtown Bay have devolved into many, many shorts. I think you've noticed that too. Hopefully a new crop of keepers will come to visit!!!
I haven't taken up Golf just yet, but damn close to considering it. To say this year is a bitter disappointment, would be gross understatement. I'd was over 70 fish this time last season, more than 1/2 of the 2024 total, and here I am at 9 fish this year, average size being 27 so the curse of 6 Chesapeake spawn failures has come to bite Maine in the ass. I still have the frigid water temps as a possible reason, but if there's no improvement starts showing after this heat wave, then: FORE!!!!

Won't trust this 74 year old bod in this weather, not paddling a kayak a couple of miles just to catch a fish in 98 °, but enjoying our pool. Commercials were a bit weird, as they interfered with following a thread but cash is king and all that. When the weather breaks here by friday will be back out there.
