Fished the bay today. Wind against tide. Tide against wind. Did what we could. Water temperature down almost 10 degrees from rain. Bunch of shorts. No keepers. When will the summer weather take hold???Nice!

Green boots are like having bananas on board........just sayinI don't advocate pushing one's luck and I too try to avoid the "common superstitions" about fishing/boating.
However, on my charter from last Friday with the kids aboard, we did blow away most of them. Pretty solid catch on Friday the 13th and while we had a good Weakfish bite going, I noticed a banana in the lunch box of one of the kids. I just kept my cool and the fish kept biting!! Sometimes you just need to be confident.
BTW, I know Keivn's results are not from a lack of effort!!! And I don't mind the kids' attire at all They look pretty sharp to me..😀

Needless to say, I often enjoyed bananas aboard my boat up to that time, it's like the Catholic Definition of Sin. It's not a sin if you don't know it is a sin, but once you know, doing it becomes a sin...

About 20 years ago I was on vacation in FL and Dad and I were headed out on a local party boat for a night Kingfish trip. Not only did they have a "No Bananas" sign by the boarding ramp, but the crew actually checked everyone's coolers to be sure you didn't sneak one aboard. Now that's really nuts. "Rabbits foot", anyone?😱
