I have had insurance with Sea Insure since the boat was new in 2017, policy is up for renewal 6/20/25 & as of yet have not received a bill in the mail or E Mail. I have left 2 unanswered phone messages & 2 unreturned e mails, don't know what is going on so I guess I may be shopping for insurance. Who are you guys & gals using for boat insurance?
Thanks

I also use Sea Insure, and they just sent me a renewal. It is through a different insurance company because my existing insurance company is folding. They gave me the option to stay with my existing one more year, or switch, which I did.
I will say that the original email did not have "Sea Insure" in the title, so maybe there is a chance they sent you something that went to a junk folder, or was deleted.

After leaving 3 phone messages with no return calls finally got someone to answer the phone yesterday afternoon & he explained they were changing underwriters to Pinnacle national Insurance, he said he was sorry but they had over 800 policies to deal with, I was a little pissed & told him that's not my problem, my insurance expires in 9 days & I can't get a return call or E Mail. They sent me the renewal form with the quote, not sure what I'm gonna do, spoke with a broker in Lindenhurst today, who deals with Travelers Ins. explained everything to him & now waiting for a quote.

I’ve always used Alan Mott Agency, now they seemed to have morphed somewhat 🤷‍♂️

I have an “agreed value” policy with Travelers thru a traditional agent
In the worst case scenario of a total loss, they would have to pay that amount to my wife or next beneficiary 😳 for the hull and motor
It includes all other standard additional coverages for salvage, additional misc equipment, towing etc

I wnet through Shore Line Insurance. The father and son are big fisherman. I agree with Chinacat. My boat has an agreed on value. The other good thing about Progressive is they include towing insurance . That saves me the Sea Tow fee.

Thanks to everyone for the responses, had a broker in Lindenhurst recommended by an old friend, went over my Sea Insure policy, made some improvements, stuck with the same deductible, & wrote a policy with Travelers, with a premium $125 less than I have been paying to Sea Insure.

Before I sold my last motorboat four seasons back, and for 40 years of motorboats, I simply used USAA for home, cars, floaters and the boat. Regardless of companies, bundling usually saves you money, although boat towing insurance was albeit slight with USAA. I never filed a boat claim.
