Despite the rather soggy and breezy weather yesterday the Elias party of 4 still hung in there to make a decent catch of Scup and Weakfish on the morning charter in Peconic Bay.

Half of the crew had never fished before and missed a lot of the rather rapid Porgy bites so the guys did fall short a boat limit. However, they still put away just shy of 100 fish with some real jumbos showing up towards the end of the tide. They also enjoyed a nice bonus of 4 keeper Weakfish to 4# plus we threw back 3 more legal sized fish. Poor conditions did not allow for any decent photos, but the guys went home with plenty of smiles and lots of fresh fish to cook!
