Exactly... take away all the BS and he should have been in years ago.

Pete Rose is gone. The man with more hits than anyone in the history of Major League Baseball died still banned, still denied entry into the Hall of Fame. Meanwhile, players linked to steroids are celebrated, enshrined, and even working for MLB.

Rose never took a performance enhancer. He never disrespected the game on the field. What he did was wrong, but he never bet against his own team. He accepted his punishment and spent the rest of his life on the outside looking in.

Baseball had the chance to do the right thing while he was alive, but it chose politics and double standards instead. That decision is a permanent stain on the game. Shame on Major League Baseball for refusing to honor the man who played harder than anyone. It is too late now. The damage is done.

Shoeless Joe Jackson and 7 other White (Black) Sox’s were also reinstated. Different situation than Pete Rose.
