View attachment 93768Now that's what I call retiring with style! Covering all the fishy bases wherever they are biting!
Nicely done, Vinny.

Guns, boats.....you need to write a "How to" book for the rest of us losers! No secrets, life is short we only live once. Born and raised hunting and fishing. My wife is always saying when are you gonna stop that hunting crap and I remind her I’ll never forget the morning I was going duck hunting with my Grandfather. He called and said I don’t think I can go today my legs are hurting and he never hunted again until he passed. That sticks in my head. And fishing goes the same until the good lord doesn’t allow me to I will continue as long as I can.
Lol ..congrats!

I hear you.....lost my good friend and mentor a couple years back. Haven't fished as much but I'm planning more trips this year. When you keep turning down invitations, eventually they stop asking! LolMy vessel is always open I enjoy fishing as much as hunting. And always willing to take whoever wants to go us old salts stick together

Moved the boat the morning, to her new home. My goodness the wind was angry in the bay and in canal. But all ready to goGlad to see she is tied up at her new home and ready to go. With the last couple of days of insane winds, and cold temps I chose to take care of cleaning up my lawn, weeding, putting down a ton of mulch...ugh!! From here on out every day the temps are above 45 and it is not blowing a gale, I will be at the marina tackling all the commissioning tasks. The real fun starts tomorrow.
I forgot to ask but is that a brand-new vessel. If not, her previous owner gave her a lot of love!
Best of luck with your retirement gift!!

Was owned by Lady who would only take it out of canal shut it down float around and come back. Never had a fish hit the deck.

Sounds like the old story about finding a "cherry Corvette" that grandma only drove to church on Sundays!🤣
She definitely looks pristine! Glad to hear you made such a great score. Only now the deck is likely to be full of scales!!!
