Tuna and mahi

Took a couple of good friend, husband and wife out to try for tuna and mahi. Had the weather on Thursday so we headed south of Montauk around the ranger wreck. Trolled up a nice yellowfin on a joe schute lure then pot hopped but only found a couple of mahi willing to cooperate. Headed back north to the fleet and got lucky on a nice bluefin, 65”. A day I’m sure they will not forget.
