If you only catch two fish all morning.

Let one be 22" ... and whoever it was last year suggesting to add a pork rind trailer when a Gulp! curly tail gets bitten off, thank you. Quite challenging kayak fishing this morning as I put in at a location where the forecasted very light N. wind was in the same section as the outgoing tide. "They" never get the wind right. Even with a drift sock out I was moving faster than most people walk and paddled to a different spot a half mile away. Of course the wind continued to shift around to the east but at least the mid tide current slowed somewhat and both fish took the pink and white homemade buck with a pink Gulp and the aforementioned trailer. By the time I got the hook out and the fish on the stringer, I drifted a couple hundred yards and decided to try my luck again where I had started but after downing both bottles of water decided one fish was enough and went home to filet and hit the pool. A lot more eel grass but its that time of year. Just judging by my feet I would say the water temp was in the mid 70s.
