Got to boat for 7 o’clock met up with Frank Sr and off we went. Sent out the trolling rod and made several sweeps in the area with no takers. Finally we get a fish on and after a short battle a fat 33” hits the deck, with quick work back in the water to fight another day. Made a few more passes and nothing, moved further east and for next two hours had a few fish tide ended and that was it for the bass. Had a 27” 28” 30.5” and two more over at 32” and 34” Moved on to try fluke fishing only a few super shorts and while jigging fluke had a few chops take the gulps. Absolutely beautiful day on the water, will try Friday again.

Certainly better than my day washing windows and cleaning deck furniture in [preparation for the big family BBQ this weekend.
BTW, those are some pretty nice sized Scup. Almost approaching Peconic Bay size!😆
