Seems that everything is early this year, so I figured I'd try to catch a bass before last year's record "early catch" on May 16, which had 52°F water temps.

Was feeling pretty optimistic when I headed out, seeing lots of seals as the alewives are running strong and the water temps of a "topical" 60°F!!

Well not a sniff of course, but I was able to check a few items on the boat which made the sortie worth it...
