You are on the right track. I would avoid the first two, if only because parts for them will be scarce to completely unavailable. The Daiwa would work, as would the Abu, but how about this?:

For a bit more money, you can move up in the Abu baitcaster family to the just-released Revo5 X "Winch" 5.4:1 ratio. This would be my choice for a reel that is quality-built and can remain in your reel lineup as you progress to better setups.
