Good way to end the season

Took advantage of the great forecast and sailed for the final trip of the season on Saturday. After making several disappointing trips to the west, decided to stay local for one last shot at Blackfish. The decision worked out as we managed to pick away all day on the same piece and put together a limit for myself and my buddy John. Plenty of consistent life until the outgoing tide really started to run, then it was just a scratchy pick. John managed to big fish for the day at about 4.5#. Green crabs were the ticket without legs and shell off. It was a good season overall, with a disappointing blackfish season.....there's always next year. I just want to thank the guy's that fished with me this season. They fished hard and made me look good, even on some tough days. I also wanted to thank my buddy, Pete. We've shared our ups and downs throughout the season and having a reliable partner to game plan and share information is an invaluable asset when plying the ocean waters for our favorite species. I'm looking forward to next season already.

Happy Holidays to everyone!!!

It's always our pleasure fishing with you Capt., You've provided memories enough to tide us over till next season! Always a sad day hauling the boat but with a zipper in the shrink wrap think of all the stuff that can get accomplished before next season! Happy Holidays to everyone, lets all hope for better things in the year to come! Stay healthy and safe and get ready for some shows.
