Did you troll that gold spoon ? on the surface ? I exited Jones Inlet about 9:30 in the morning and it didn't look like 2 foot seas, I'm in my Panga and big swells pounded me a few minutes, thought about going back, was going back in the inlet and looked west and it seemed nice over that way and I went west over to the Pink Hotel area. Glad I stayed out and caught bass. Not as many as you did, I was trolling a single MOJO .No trolling he was just jiggling it

Had to be close to 100 other boats in the area.
Bunker were stacked up from bottom to surface. Live lined bunker for many fish but a gold spoon did the most damage.
Lost count after 20 fish, keeping our 3 fish limit. The spoon also caught at least a 1/2 dozen dogfish.
Weird thing today skates where everywhere swimming on top both right side up and upside down.
Also we saw a seal and for about a hour we watched a whale gorge itself on the bunker pods.
