Tog time!

After a one hour run we arrived on the spot at 7:30 . With high tide at 8:50 the tide was already slowing down and made for perfect conditions. First crab down and my brother came tight on very solid fish which came unbuttoned before it came into net range, 6-7 lbs. The next hour was non stop action with mostly shorts , most 12-13” with 2 18”keepers. With the slacking tide and wind we swung back into the honey hole and boxed 4 fish between 5-7 pounds. The new moon ebb fired up and that was that. Great trip!

We were actually anchored close by this morning, pulled one 5.5# Tog and then a bunch of shorts. before the tide started to ebb. I guess I bailed a little too soon. While we did scrape together a decent catch for my crew you had better quality fish today! Congratulations!
