Late Afternoon Bite

Got out yesterday afternoon for an evening tide in Plum Get. I was a little suprised how late the rip started & how weak the tide was for three days before the moon. Fishing a three way it took a while to figure out which bucktail the bass wanted. Ended the trip with 5 short bass & one 30" keeper for the table. Left them biting as I really didn't feel like dealing with the ramp or backing in my driveway in the dark. Not a better way to spend a hot afternoon.

Nice work, John. Figuring out the puzzle is part of the fun!!

Interestingly, I also thought the flood tide yesterday morning was also a bit slow for the big moon period. Almost no visible rip although the GPS was reading about a 2.5kt drift.
