OK, call me a connoisseur of national anthem performances.
1. Get a box of Kleenex.
2. Watch a video of Whitney Huston. Forget that she was a junkie. Most reviews say she was the absolute best, me included.
3. And also watch a video of the opera level Meatloaf performing it at an All Star Game,
4. and Linda Rondstadt at a Yankees vs Dodgers World Series Game at Dodger Stadium.
5. Replay Stapleton's
Go to ShopRite and replace box of said facial tissues. And for God's sake forget about the politics of any of these performers and just appreciate the performance.

Whitney had a terrific voice!!! unreal!!!

But I misinterpreted Hunter704's meaning behind the post as I watched very very little of the pre and post game stuff. I had watched all the playoff games so had no need for the talking heads, came back and watched the Anthem, than walked away until kickoff. Switched to HBO On Demand at halftime to start watching the latest "The End of Us" and missed Pacheco's 2nd half opening TD.

Great act from one of the funniest movies ever, and probably Woody's best effort. Don't have a clue why you would post it here unless you never saw the movie and thought this was some sort of socio-political statement, which it's not. It was all about what goes on during an organism...
