Got out Friday after work with fellow “Amigo” Fish4Me as well as my neighbor Rich. Messed around with the porgies and sea bass for an hour, had a visit from the DEC, and then went to the pasture. The big girls didn’t make us wait long to show up. Sun was setting and the reels were singing..big fish after big fish kept us busy for an hour as the outgoing picked up speed. We kept our limit of 3 and sent another 7 back, thanking them for the fight and memories!
The kids wanted in on the action so we repeated the process on sat evening. It took a little longer to coax the bass into seeing how the other half live, but we had a great time catching 6 more bass and a few big dogs, only keeping 3 for the 6 of us onboard. Made sure everything that was released swam away strong.
