Maybe some damage to its skin/scales when it was a juvenile.

Looks similar to the ones I have seen in the Bass Pro Shop tank.

I can't find one that looks like this. This is long and sleek and had the head of a stopped bass. Hybrids are pudgy looking.

Agreed, NOT a hybrid...

It looks like an injury when it was a juvenile. If you look at the back of the dorsal fin, the body is indented slightly.
