Even with the longer season and 1/2 inch reduction, and presuming the trends of less and less fluke continues this year, I would not be shocked if we again fail to achieve the Rec quota and see another increase next year. My opinion only here Lep 🙂

John - I don’t trust “the Science” as far as I can throw the scientists - and that’s coming from a guy that has directly done business with them.
Someday I will tell you of the face to face conversations I had with them concerning the Spring potting of “lobster” on the AB Reef. Quite a series of illuminating discussions we had. Just a total waste of breath, trying to make them understand what’s really going on out there.
Anyway, I certainly do hope that you're right and I’m wrong concerning this relaxation of the fluke regs. Let’s see what happens next May.

what’s so hard bout makin it 20” even… cellfish…I have no problem with a 20 in fish, good luck trying to catch one in the sound.
The problem with these so called scientist is that they are book smart hands stupid, no one is out there gathering real time intel, everything they get filters down through so many hands, you want intel you need to be on the water with the fleet getting your info straight from the source, not from people who may or may not be telling the truth.
