Hey everyone! A few of the members here know that I run a part-time fluke/tog charter business out of Greenport, Long Island (just a few hundred yards from Capt. Mike!) and also know that I have a YouTube Channel (Jigging Jerks).
Each year, I run two subscriber contests on my YouTube channel: a Spring Fluke Contest and a Fall Blackfish/Tog Contest where a couple of lucky subscribers win free trips. The Fluke Subscriber trip is scheduled for Sunday, May 22nd (again out of Greenport, NY).
In connection with this Fluke Subscriber Contest trip, I reached out to George, the Admin/Founder of NYAngler, and expressed to him how refreshing this site is. It's filled with good-hearted, knowledgeable folks and is largely free of drama. I'd like to see this site grow and with George's permission, I'm directing subscribers from my YouTube page to this post. If they register and comment on this thread (as further described below), it will count as an entry into the Subscriber contest.
More importantly, my hope is that this will provide exposure to folks who don't know about NYAngler and I'm hoping many of them will stick around and contribute to the site after they've registered and entered the contest.
