I seen a picture on FB and a report that a 16 Lb Blackfish was caught somewhere by Eatons Neck. This is not firsthand or verified information , but it would be very promising for those of us that fish the Sound to see blackfish that size.
A buddy of mine knows the angler who caught it. I was shown a picture of this hog with the Huntington Lighthouse in the back ground. Huge fish. She was a bleeder or they would have set her free.
