Windy day Tog!

Was determined to get out for a few hours this morning in spite of the heavy wind, and boy im glad i did! Hit my first spot in the bay and it was on! All small fish up to 15 inches, but hey it was great action. The tide died so i made a move to another spot, the fish were chewing there immediately but still no keepers. I was using a traditional blackfish rig topped with green crabs. Since the bight was hot I switched to a lighter rod and a tog jig for fun and wouldn’t ya know it the keepers started coming over the rail! Wound up limiting out and was home with a bag of filets in time for lunch!
