Took my brother to Reynolds Channel today 5/22/21 fishing the outgoing for 3 hours. I didn't like the 3 to 5 foot waves predicted in the ocean. Couldn't find a fluke. Party boats didn't look like they were doing any better. Switched to diamond jigs and had fun with the Blues for 2 hours. Largest was 30". We did keep 6 as my sister-inlaw is an amazing cook and even make blue fish taste good.

anyone who hates or who won't eat bluefish can not say "he loves seafood," he is just a picky eater. I don't even bother to bleed my blues but admit I often have to give them a good conk on the head when I start to cleaning my catch. some swear by a long marinade and the barbie, I like SWMBO's baking them in the oven covered with slathered on lite mayo and italian bread crumbs. I d feel that they do not freeze well and are best eaten within a day or two. and pound for pound, show me a more exciting fish to catch.

I suppose I was never lucky enough to have them prepared in a way that I enjoyed eating them as a meal. However, I did eat them smoked and served with crackers, have to say that was very good.

body pulled from Reynolds by linden blvd ... I saw some kids swimming in the middle of the channel yesterday...
seems this body has been in the water for a long time
