has anyone replaced the cockpit enclosure on a 2012 290 Coastal? the factory enclosure is worn after 8 years and ready for a new set up. I would like to upgrade the vinyl if possible and re-engineer the windshield design a bit to minimize the leaks in rough seas. One quote i received thus far is for $4,300 (straight replacement, no redesign) using Sunbrella material and 40gauge O’Sea clear vinyl panels. i don’t know the make or thickness of the factory panels so its hard to judge if this is an upgrade or straight replacement. i will call Wellcraft but thought I would ask around for some real life information. Any help is very much appreciated. thanks.
