Orange makes a world of difference in the woods. Even in lower light around dusk. I'm lucky to hunt on private land and know the people I hunt with. We always know where the others are gonna be hunting. If I did hunt public land I would be in as much orange as I could.

Also I carry a head lamp. Always on when walking even in the light. It does show enough to alert others as long as you are walking towards them when light out.

Once deer season starts here I always wear a orange vest and hat. One day when I was visiting the "across the street nursery" looking for some white pines to transplant I noticed some hunters across a 150 yd cove and realized I had a white hat on.
