Another Stupid Human Boating Trick ending in a sad, but predictable fashion. Nice catch by the houseboat!!

Video from a witness showed a boat out of control in the bay in the moments before it crashed into a houseboat.

The 19-year-old and three passengers were tossed into the water.

Environmental Police said the 19-year-old was flown via helicopter to the trauma center at Lahey Hospital, where he remained on Sunday.

The accident was under investigation by Massachusetts Environmental Police and the Ipswich Harbor Master.

That boat on the left is a friend of mine Dale H. he had a line set up and tried to snag the prop. You can see him throttle up with the line out and head for the inside of the arc that boat was running. He hooked it but the line parted. That 19 year old was struck by the boat on its second or third pass. Dale said he was setting up to ram the boat from the inside when it struck the "house boat"

He's a pretty cool guy ,just a regular Joe. He knows his equipment well, what he can and can't do with it. He was right to take a try.
