Decided to run inshore to my old spots, and picked up a 19" keeper by the Coney island flats.
Tried for the rest of the day around inlet area and bridge, but the fluke fishing was generally poor.

Headed out this morning for some porgy fishing as i heard they just showed up in my area. Once i got there, immediate signs of life. Saw a couple bass and blues busting on bunker. Searched around for some porgies, and was able to locate them. Decent bite, caught 6 which is enough for me and i decided to switch to fluke. LOTS of bait out there, spearing running for their lives with the blues on their tails. Despite the bait, no luck on the fluke.
