Got out Thursday afternoon out of Port Jeff to Fluke a bit by buoy 11. Not the best tide, being low slack when i got out and having wind against tide when it switched to incoming. Fished the shoal in 8-13ft west of the can with high low setups and Gulp. Did well for the most part, maybe 20 or so caught with 3 keepers in about 2.5 hours. White Gulp seemed to get the most hits. Ran the beach east to Cedar in about 15ft of water looking for bunker and bass, nada. No other surface action or birds that i saw.

I would say thats pretty darn impressive fishing a wind against tide. Last weekend we saw the best action on the outgoing at Pt. Jeff but that was a wind wth tide. Don't know if I should go North or South shore this weekend. Sunday says wind from the N so I'm leaning on Moriches, hope the blowfish will leave me alone long enough to catch some fluke. Its nice to have options.

3 keepers is pretty good. Was out there in the am. Wind was cranking. So much for 5-10
