Party Boat fishing early 1900's

Can't even begin to imagine what it was like fishing on a party boat like this. Makes me wonder how much will change in another 100+ years. Advertises deep see fishing but can't imagine this thing going far offshore in any short amount of time. Recall seeing pictures of boats like this where people were packed elbow to elbow.

Matt was a good guy and a great writer. I used to correspond with him. He would also send me pamphlets on hooks and knots. I learned a lot from his articles. He loved cod fishing the best.
