Had a chance to test out the Phenix Titan slow pitch rods the other day..unlike the CTS these rods / blanks have a faster action & harder tip...what a nice rods super sensitive great action & bend...

I will be calling Phenix later today to see if they have blanks ..price point for a factory is around 350.00 I'm thinking I can do a custom pretty close to that price...

I'm not 100% happy with their choice of guides on the casting rods & not liking how they did the guide train on the spinners...For 350.00 plus they should of did a better layout ..

I like the factory 6’8” ML. A custom on that blank would be sweet.

On order along with the L and a few M1 inshore ...I dont like the EVA grips & K guides on casting / jigging rods...K guides not suited for jigging...I feel you get to much bounce in the line...

Was gonna start a thread about these rods glad I did a search before doing it. Was looking at these while i had a break driving around Jersey today. Looked at the 6'8" ml and 701 ml. Both seemed like a real nice jigging blank for fluke/sea bass. Nice action quick tip. Anyone out there using these rods?
