Team Misfit headed up for a beautiful day on the Housatonic. I'd done a solo trip and had nine (small) stripers, all on the troll and with my fishfinder on the fritz, so I was optimistic. We did find them, but not in the numbers we'd hoped. Pete started catching (Hogie jig) early and eventually I managed to get one later in the day (fast troll 6" Rapala, bunker pattern). The fish had moved south from Shelton a few weeks back and everyone had fish in about the same 1/4 mile stretch. Can't wait for next weekend's Jamaica Bay Tournament. Just like old times.
Awesome day to be out. Fished from 8 to 3 and I was home for dinner. Headed out to Ponquogue Bridge tonight and I WILL post...
