SP Minnows floaters crystal , glow, yellow pearl, assassins and large soft grubs on 1/4 to 3/4 ounce jig heads. LNB devours tins and divers.
this year i will try some of the GULP! 5 & 6 inch grubs with curly tails on jigheads.

early season most of my success comes from soft plastics, this season im trying the elias paddle tails for the first time. Look awesome lets just hope they produce. They are very good, although they are a slightly larger profile than what I like in the spring. Try the keitech easy shiners on 1/4oz jig heads. Deadly on a slow crawl and pause.

Did not think of the Keitech. What size and color do you prefer?

4.8 Keitech on a 5/0 beast 1/4oz. hook crawled slow. A weighless plastic Super-fluke twitched, chix scratch Bomber crawled on top...Suspending long-cast Rapala worked quick...Can't forget the smalled C.C pencil...Done !...😉...Oh, if its a situation where a shad-body comes into play, Big Hammer baits, in the Wookie-whacker color,no substitute...

Another vote for soft plastics here - I'm also a fan of the Keitech but a Zoom fluke on a jighead has done wonders for me. I also get some hits with the SP Minnow and smaller epoxies. I picked up one of the new Yo-Zuri 3D inshore line in peanut, hoping that's going to do some damage.
First season with a rod really dedicated to throwing the lighter stuff, a 10' Black Hole Suzuki. Also going to try a casting egg for the first time, not really sure how I never thought of it or read about it before. I'm constantly kicking myself for being just outside of casting range with the smaller stuff, hopefully they solve the problem.

What's your favorite Keitech color ?
I admittedly haven't tried a lot of them, but for this time of year the alewife is more productive to me. When the waters warm a bit and spring is in full gear, the electric blue has done more damage.
Of course, the reason I tried them in the first place (the EZ shiners) was because a guy fishing on the beach next to me was landing one schoolie after the next a couple of seasons ago, and I asked him what he was using. He had the perch color on, and I've yet to buy a pack of those.
