When it come to Bait my go to place is Ralph's in Island Park on Austin Boulevard.

Tackle most of it from Ebay. I love buying older used Penn reels. Most of the new Reels are highly over rated and over priced in my opinion.

My favorite since 1974 ! Just ordered three from that site, thanks. Chrome (metallic) has always been my favorite !

Seems LI bass like chrome better than ME fish, who seem to prefer the Blue Flash color. Also I hit the wrapping threads on the bucktail with clear 5 min epoxy. I catch 75 - 100 fish on a plug before I swap out a new one. At that time the hooks start to become unreliable and the body has many chips on it.

Also I test each plug for action, usually toss 2 - 3 per dozen out because of poor balance/action. I do miss bluefish blitzes for using crappy plugs up.

Trophy Tackle for anything rod, reel, line, lure related. I haven’t found another shop that comes even remotely close to their variety and knowledge they’re will to share.
