Working on perfecting a squid pattern I have stuck in my brain. Switching from one material to the other requires minor adjustments as far as when to tie in the next material. The hook will be attached to the stinger loop in front of the tentacles.
I'll upload the squids in the order I tied them. The timeframe is over several months.

Hi Joe,
The squids take time to tie. The body material on the first three is hand blended. The diameter of the material is very thin so many batches are required to fill the hook shank. It's not a pattern that you can sit at the vise and bang out a dozen. If there is one in particular you like, I'll have it waiting for you at the Ward Melville Show.

Spent the day at the Fly fishing Show - Edison NJ. Had a great time. Saw all my tying friends. The patterns they design are incredible.
The new materials hitting the marketplace are very exciting. Came home with a shopping bag full of goodies. Will be rethinking all my standard fluke teasers. The patterns are going to be better than ever.
I was offered the opportunity to tie for one of the premier fly shops in the Northeast. Giving it serious consideration.
