Good with the Bad

Frank Sr and I had a plan no bass fishing, let’s stick to the fluke. We knew that we wanted to run east no stopping in between. Our goal off Sunken Meadow we caught last of incoming and had fish right away. Plenty of hungry short fluke. That’s the Good the bad couldn’t find a keeper. We were all alone there then a few private boats and the Joseph showed up. I didn’t see much on the Joseph or private boats but Frank and I were hammering them. We both fished Green bucktails with 4” green gulps on top a single hook spearing squid. Both were catching the fish are spitting up sand eels galore. Even had a 15” Fluke spit out a 6” squid. We easily boated over 50 shorts along with a 1/2 dozen sea robins. Beautiful day could’ve used a little less breeze but I will take the day we had. We bent rods the morning.
