I just think to be allowed to keep as many as four will reduce the resource, especially since the vast majority of fish over 18 1/2" are females. who needs four fish for dinner ?

How about 2 dinners during the week, if you only fish on weekends? I do like 4 fish as a workable catch limit.

You may feel differently when you retire. Bring a family member, lol. Perhaps all the windmills will make it more difficult for the commercials to decimate the stock as they migrate inshore( ? )

Doubtful. Besides, I have no intention of retiring. . . I actually enjoy my job. 🙄

I am retired and usually go out 3 times a week not always for fluke so when I get lucky to get 4 keepers they go home.My wife daughter son in law and grand kids all love fish so nothing goes to waste.

I personally think 4 isn't enough. I also think the size limit should be 18 inches..

Let's not forget, the coms are fishing a 14 inch limit.

I enjoyed my job but not working at all ? No comparison. Besides i prefer weakfish snd if its another good year for them a one fish limit retirees can handle lol. I still want a slot for fluke, just loke stripers.

Rumor has it that some fluke have been caught in Southern Maine the past few years. May give it a shot for S&G this August. No regs on the books so if I can get a decent filet off it, it’s mine…
