So the other day I was fluking in an area that had plenty of sharks around. A few boats even hooked up on them. It shouldn't come as a surprise, as this is two or more years consecutive years of it.
It was blisteringly hot and it's tempting to take a dip in the ocean to cool off. This is exactly what one guy did just a few hundred yards from us and other boats that had reported shark sightings.
I ask, Would you take a 5-10 minute swim in those waters?
Would you or wouldn't you?

If you swim in any body of salt water, or Lake Titicaca, you're swimming in waters that have sharks. Never give it a second thought, HOWEVER, I sure wouldn't swim in area close to a seal colony, nor wear a black wet suit.Would you give it a thought if you knew there were sharks actively feeding on fish in the area?

I guess Tony ain't such a tough bad ass after all 8-)8-)
Personally, I would not go in either if I saw any sharks in the area or was out fishing away from the immediate coastline
However I swim at ocean beaches often and not afraid to do so.....

Would you give it a thought if you knew there were sharks actively feeding on fish in the area?Depends on the species of shark and what they were eating? Porbeagles or Threshers eating bunker, no second thought, GWS, bulls, hammerheads dining on anything, then I wouldn't be hoping in the water...

Small (4-5’) hammerheads were swimming around the boat on Tues. Very cute - from a safe distance!

I don't even step foot in the beach since JAWS. Scared for life.
