Anyone Squid Here?

I have a box full of squid jigs for the past couple of years, never made it out. Anyone here go squidding? It's supposed to start soon...would love a squid catch/cook video or two lol

I wonder how far west they swim...any of the herring spots in Westchester/Bronx hold squid? Not looking to fill a cooler, I'll be happy with with a couple.

Usually heat reports of them making it to StonyBrook area late fall, although I’ve never had a chance to get them northshore.

Summer 2018 we had tons of them out in the canyon. Lots of fun on jigs.

Don't know why City Island and the region couldn't get a shot at them ... I've caught them as far west as Execution .....

I caught a Blue Fish and a Robbin from the dock this week using a Squid Popper.....does that count? LOL 😵

I'm going togging for the first time this year, will bring along squid jigs if I return after dark!
