Data Deletion Instructions

You control your information.

You may request deletion even if you can no longer sign in. If the optional Meta integration becomes available and you connect it, you may also request deletion after removing the app from Facebook.

Request deletion by email

  1. Email privacy@noreaster.com with the subject Data Deletion Request.
  2. Send the request from the email associated with your noreaster.com account, if possible. Include your noreaster.com username and state whether you want the Meta connection only or the entire noreaster.com account deleted.
  3. Do not send a password, access token, government ID, or other sensitive credential. We may ask for a limited account-verification step.
  4. We will acknowledge the request and provide a confirmation or status update. We will delete or de-identify covered data unless limited retention is legally or operationally required.

Remove a future noreaster.com Meta connection

The Meta integration is not yet available or submitted for App Review. If it launches and you connect it, open Facebook's Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, select noreaster.com, and choose Remove. If Facebook offers “Send Request” for deletion, you may use it. Removing an app stops future authorized access but may not delete previously stored data; send the email request above to ensure our records are addressed.

What we delete

Depending on your request, deletion covers account profile data and content not subject to a valid retention need. If the optional Meta feature launches and you connect it, deletion will also cover connected Meta app-scoped identifiers, Page or Instagram account identifiers, access tokens, and connection records. A disconnect-only request will remove the Meta connection while preserving your noreaster.com community account and content.

Timing and exceptions

We aim to complete verified requests promptly. Some data may remain briefly in protected backups until their normal rotation. We may retain limited information required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, disputes, or records of the request. We will explain any material limitation in the status response.
