Ny has amongst the highest taxes in the Country , high electric rates , expensive real estate , yet Amazon wanted to provide 25,000 ' GREEN" jobs ............... and these 'Progressive " politicians chased them away ........

everybody is for everything....as long as it's not in their backyard!!! Local opposition put pressure on certain politicians to scuttle this. Those same speculators are probably the same big donors that have ran the political machine in queens for a very long time. Wait till election season and see if these politicians will still be voted into office.
Then add in all of the small business owners and basically anyone else who makes a living in those communities.

The GOP may not be any better but you have to be a complete moron to think that they would not have made this deal happen. But since NYC is a major urban area there was literally no chance of them getting a say. Let’s face it. The people that vote for a living dictate to the people that work for a living.
