I hope AOC does a victory lap in DiBlasio and Cuomo's face - she'll be 1 term if she's not careful.
I've heard Dems are already lining up bodies to run against here in a primary.

Really hard to understand .........

Those same speculators are probably the same big donors that have ran the political machine in queens for a very long time. Wait till election season and see if these politicians will still be voted into office.

Then add in all of the small business owners and basically anyone else who makes a living in those communities.

Bye bye birdie.

Many of these same politicians hate coal jobs , hate oil / nat gas jobs and want hi tech jobs for everyone .....
Seems to me that these folks just ran out of town 25,000 'hi tech / green ' jobs

The city of Glen Cove has 27,000 residents , hundreds of small businesses thrive in Glen Cove .......
That will give folks an idea of what NYC just lost .......

I bet the 25000 was just a sweetener inda begining, maybe half the original estimate would've been... oh well... cellfish...

As if the GOP is any better. It will take many years to take the smirk off people's faces when they see or hear that ridiculous slogan about Nueva Yawk being "open for business."

The GOP may not be any better but you have to be a complete moron to think that they would not have made this deal happen. But since NYC is a major urban area there was literally no chance of them getting a say. Let’s face it. The people that vote for a living dictate to the people that work for a living.

So long as the welfare system is as grandiose as it is, eliminating any incentive to work for the ignorant masses, the city will remain democrap. (Before I transferred to DoD, I wasted seven years of my life handing out SSI benefits.)

Well said. I can’t wait to get out of this state. Where I’m gonna go I’m not really sure. NJ and CT are moving in the same direction as this place.
