> They can concentrate the chemical in CBD, you would have to smoke or ingest too much to get the same amount.
New York State's current medical marijuana offers CBD/THC in three different levels. You can get low, medium, and high (;)) levels of CBD and/or THC. It comes in pill form, vape, or liquid you place under your tongue.
Personally, I have not tried the products yet. I have been to the dispencerary a few times with my father. He has back pain. Four vertical compression fractures last year, three separate kyphoplasty procedures last year.
It has been working quite well for him. He started out with the pills; medium CBD and medium THC. He now is taking the liquid, hightest on both CBD and THC. He was taking WAY too many opioids for a few months to deal with the discomfort.
Since going the medical marijuana route (about three months) he has not taken one opioid.
It is sort of expensive, but it helps him.

> I was thinking of trying it to ease the discomfort from arthritis.
I hear ya on the arthritis, I also have 4 herniated discs 2 on the bottom of my neck, and 2 on the bottom of my back, L5.
I've been getting shots for the lower back, just had an mri for my neck Monday, still waiting on the results.
I will absolutely for go surgery till I can stand or walk, My neck problems stem from an accident I had back in the late 70's just a couple of years ago it started to bother me, looks like I will be getting shots for the neck too.
So if taking this will help, i'm all for it.
